show you how to put together your teleprompt online with the talent monitor kit so the first thing you're going to do is remove the plate from the tripod so you can put it onto the
base of the teleprompter so here you're going to find depending on what
tripod you have it's going to be different sizes here we have both the 3/8 and the 1/4-20.
this one has two 3/8th's so i'm going to find the two 3/8ths. all right, once everything is tight I'm just gonna go ahead and slide it right onto the tripod lock it in place. Okay, next we're going to
go ahead and extend these rods out here and you're going to want to make sure that
they're extended long enough not only for the teleprompter monitor but also
for the talent monitor itself okay let's do a quick measurement as you can see here it is not long enough so keep pulling a little bit more okay and now you're going to want to lock down
these rods so they don't slide out anymore next I'm going to go ahead and
slide the teleprompter monitor on all right next you're gonna put
the teleprompter glass and frame on okay now you can go ahead and push the
teleprompter monitor all the way in you go ahead and tighten the teleprompter monitor all right next you're going
to take this 15-millimeter rod holder and then go ahead and slide it into your
rods.
Okay once there just gonna lock it in place. Next you're gonna take the monitor and
you're gonna line it up with one of these 1/4-20 holes depending
on the monitor size you have. Here is a 15 inch so i'm going to
be using this top one right here. and once everything is tight your talent monitor
is now ready to use. So the way to use this is that you would put your computer to this regular
monitor so that you can see your script and then your camera would go on to the talent monitor so
your talent can see themselves. There's one more thing i want to bring up and that's properly balancing
it on the tripod. if depending on the weight of your camera you're using you may need to use the
included counterweights. These counterweights go on the back of the base. You can go and put it
on the back here swing it around and you would slide them in here.
