So the appealing traits you’ve highlighted are a struggle too. (Thankfully, it’s a struggle I don’t have to deal with.)

Charm,
So is it safe to say that if a woman has dated men with Dark Triad types it could be a disqualifier for a LTR?
It would depend on the man doing the qualifying, I’d think.

Not sure that’s due to introversion.

I could stop but laugh while reading. Some men are just too narcissistic. How many of those men have you encountered in life?
Great post! You were able to describe every info well.

JM,
I would agree with you. My MIL was extremely neglectful, even of her kids’ physical needs. My DH and SIL have completely opposite personalities. She is far less stable.
Charm,
I do think boys are generally more likely to react violently to any sort of childhood stress, while girls are more likely to become depressed. It depends on whether the rage is turned inward or outward. I think though that one unfortunate by-product of a more egalitarian society is that women are more likely than used to be to be to become violent. It’s probably healthier for the individual to turn anger outward, but if violence erupts that obviously is bad for society.

…to be to be to become….
I felt like Porky Pig trying to make it through that sentence, J. :P
