- Students
discussed the health system and values.
Bogota
(DC), 25 April 2016. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection is hosting
the “Social Security Week” with a dialogue on rights and duties in the General
Social Security System in Health which involved 36 students of the schools: Camilo Torres, Unidad Pedagógica y Colsubsidio Chicalá, la Organización
Iberoamericana de Seguridad Social (OISS) and Doctor Antanas Mokus.
The event
included a workshop with case studies for the youth to reflect on values and
principles of social security. Aspects such as solidarity, good use of
resources, self-care, transparency and caring treatment were issues that the youth
considered the most important.
Likewise, the
youth suggested to the Government a course in schools on social security education
and culture.
