Bogota, November 30, 2019

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection informs the public opinion that:

1. The transfer of the affiliates of SaludVida EPS S.A., which was scheduled for tomorrow, December 1st, was suspended. Therefore, all users of SaludVida must continue to be served by that EPS.

2. The Procurator, by virtue of a ruling by the First Civil Court of the Valledupar Circuit, requested the National Superintendence of Health to suspend the actions derived from the Superintendence's own administrative act to take possession of SaludVida EPS S.A. for the liquidation of it.

3. In order to guarantee the principle of continuity of the right to health, SaludVida EPS S.A. must continue to provide health services to its affiliates, a total of 1,117,537 throughout the country. The service provider network must serve SaludVida members without interruption, with coverage and quality.

4. The Superintendence of Health, the Office of the Procurator, the Ombudsman's Office and the Province Health Offices will jointly continue to ensure that the rights of the affiliates of SaludVida are fulfilled, and address their possible violations.

5. The Ministry of Health will timely inform any additional decision taken in this process.

6. The National Superintendence of Health has the national toll-free number 018000513700 available 24 hours a day, and a chat on the website www.supersalud.gov.co that operates during office hours, to address all the concerns of SaludVida affiliates EPS S.A.

7. It is a priority for the National Government to protect the fundamental right to health of all Colombians.
